"When it rains, it pores"
This past month has hit me in most of the worst ways. Planning on Halloween being a great time, I set out to have to most fun weekend I have had in years. Whats to come in return? Well I got Beat up by a random person outside of a bar to the point where he was on top of me... the following day im sure many people remembered our little "snowstorm" well if it even effected you then you know about the amount of people without power, I was one. 1 week doesn't sound long but when all the money you spent on food is gone, your showers are cold enough to get you sick and falling asleep in a 34 degree home, and the very next day you got work super early, it will get you. The Next day the Clutch on my Mitsu EvoX went... due to a poor previous driver. To give you all an Idea its over 2 grand to replace this, plus the part itself. During this week I encountered many bad looks from customers cause of my black eye and cut up face...leading them to make up there own story in there head and tell rumors of bad things I had done the previous weekend, sounds like idk hmmm... High School! There was a little light when I took a beautiful girl out named Aceil. Shes pretty much the most wonderful person and our similarity's are so similar, its cazy...but then I come to find out that she has a religion that restricts me from seeing her in any other way then a friend (lebanese). ): When we went out that night I thought Id skip a mini set of steps like Ive always done, but this time I hurt my heal. I thought nothing of it. Throughout this week the pain has gotten so bad I went to the doctors to find out I severely bruised the bone and cut the fat pad below the heal which would lead to a shattered heal if not taken care of immediately. I already took 2 days off without pay which leaves a lousy check...And I owe about 3 grand total for the clutch and other parts in the car... Lets not forget bills coming for phone insurance and car payments for a 20 k loan (:
Well I finished my rant, Im in a pickle.
Please bring me some Karma, God...If there is one.
Where Did You Get Here?

Mid Century Modernism
People often Laugh at my hobby, or ask why I have all this crazy "ugly" furniture. Well do some research and realize that it is far more then just furniture. It was a life movement. A stage in the late 40s into the early 60s that was pushing good design to make Americans and many other Nations feel better about there lives. Using only the best materials to make them last a lifetime or longer, with perfected design based on the smallest thing from Human posture to the amount of money that was spent on one particular item. As I write this, im currently sitting in a leather lounger chair from 1958 that is still useable daily. its in great shape, and only cause the Eames couple designed it.
After the war America was in need of real materials and better sources to make life seem easier. This was the whole futuristic movement that was also later moved by NASA and there first space lunch to finish off the "ATOMIC ERA". Without this movement there would have been alot of things that are around today that may have never been invented.
Many of the designers in this time/era invented more then just one thing. They made a lounge chair one day and the next designed an Airport (Eero Saarinen). Clearly didn't happen over night, but the amount of other things that many designers took part in make something like this Eames 670/671 Lounge chair worth so much money, and it will continue having a sentimental value for all people interested in design.
Look in to mid century modernism. Dont hate the space age. Oh...and stay away from the 70s, its all junk!

Well ladies and gents, I just deleted FaceBook. How many people feel like they are so caught up on other peoples lives? Should we really care? maybe we should all just start blogging! But no really, it was a good decision. Unfortunately I broke up with my girlfriend today, she is an amazing girl. So amazing that words dont have justice for her. She currently goes to school in Salem MA and is going for nursing. I live about an hour away and its hard to go see her so we decided a mutual friendship, I hope*. I deleted my page as a loyalty to her and hope she realizes that the break up was not to get with other girls. Anyway Enough! about that stuff. lets start this off by posting life subjects and matters that you have with your Job, your loved one, your Kids, or your family. Anything you need help with Im here to help. so please, have a drink tell me your problem, see if I can help.
